Smart+ is an extremely durable and waterproof radio with its metal chassis and high IP68 rating.

The Lafayette radio is a very nice radio in just the right format with a low weight of only 230 grams. The radio fits very well in the hand and fits easily in all radio pockets. In addition to its solid feel and quality, the menus in the radio are today developed to be extremely easy to operate. You don't need a manual to figure out how to set the pilot tone or other settings.

The accessory's connector is placed in the center of the top edge of the radio, which means that the connector never gets stuck or snagged in radio pockets or the like. The accessory is a 3.5mm with a thread, which results in the socket being waterproof and never risking unnecessary looseness.

Bluetooth has started to become an increasingly common technology we use in the forest. Lafayette Smart+ has received an updated Bluetooth 5.1 and of course it is tested and certified through Bluetooth's own high standards.

Smart+ Bluetooth works with most cases, ear-buds & air-pods on the market. A unique feature of Smart+ is that you can move and choose which microphone is active while the Bluetooth accessory is connected. Most Bluetooth accessories have an integrated microphone and usually pick up whispering hunters' sounds very weakly. By moving the microphone to the radio's microphone or an externally connected microphone, you as a user will get a much better experience with Bluetooth in your hunting radio.
